The victim was riding a bicycle late on Tuesday, March 12, when he was stopped by a dark-colored SUV, borough police wrote in a release. Authorities said it happened on Church Lane between MacDade Boulevard and Baltimore Avenue.

Two suspects, a man and a woman, exited the vehicle and demanded his bike and his money, authorities said. A struggle ensued and the male suspect stabbed the bicyclist, according to police.

The SUV was last seen heading west on MacDade Boulevard towards Sharon Hill Borough, investigators said.

Police are asking any residents with security cameras to check their systems from 11:30 p.m. to 11:43 p.m. for footage of the suspect vehicle or the victim.

The victim was riding a blue Mongoose mountain bike and wearing gray pants, a gray short-sleeved shirt, and brown shoes, they added.
